I have always wondered why books do not credit the typefaces they are set in.. it came as a pleasant surprise when at the end of this boring book I forced myself to read by a Nobel prize winning writer (it was a fictional piece set in a certain period of history I am interested in), they had not only credited the typeface it was set in, but also mentioned a few lines about the creator (Claude Garamond). It was a nice thing to see in a book that is nowhere related to graphic design. A thoughtful bit from the publishers, Vintage Books (of Random House Group UK).
